…of paintings you’ve been working on for a while! :-)

Yesterday was Greek Orthodox Easter Sunday, but instead of sipping Ouzo and nibbling on roasted lamb (with you-know-who), I was busy putting the absolute final touches on 4 paintings that will be shipped out today.

And, as always, a bit of piano playing clears the mind…

It’s bittersweet. I’m excited for their new homes. But I’m also a perfectionist, having analyzed each paint stroke, even the tiny ones. Did I achieve the look I wanted? Would something be even 0.001% better if I reworked that little detail?

I’ve stared at these 4 for a while now. They are done. I happily release them to the world!
